New Resource Editor Tutorial Part 1

I hope to make this a weekly tradition for the next couple of months until we have a respectable set of videos covering all the features of the new resource editor in detail. The first video is just a warmup showing off how quickly one can create a hello world UI with the resource editor.

  1. The Resource Editor that comes with LWUIT 1.4 doesn't have the option "GUI" to include Forms, Dialogs or Containers shown in your video. I'm wondering where I can find that.
    Thanks!

  2. You need to use the latest webstarted version of the resource editor. Use the orange button to launch it in the LWUIT website.

  3. I´m trying to use the resource editor online but each time I add a new GUI-Form like in the tutorial the program stops responding.

Why is not possibly to use the Resource editor from LWUIT 1.4 and it has to be online?

  4. Thanks,
I didn't provide that specific link since its subject to change. However, the LWUIT home page will probably be the same for the foreseeable future.

  5. If you are using system fonts the difference in size might not exist for some cases.
